主角妻子癌症过世。主角回家后突然发现25年前，前情人发给他的信，原来有一个私生子。他两个女儿看到信后，和老爸闹矛盾。主角后来和战友黑人查理一起开车去找他私生子。路上还有一个帅哥威利同路。后来威利遇上机车女后，离开队伍。而查理勇敢救人后，脚截肢保命。最后男主角找到私生子，和两个女儿冰释前嫌，和谐一家。片子挺温情的，没有过多的前度，也就警打黑人查理一段有点起伏。
